Foundations of EQ Lab

Psychological research has established that your emotional intelligence (EQ) is at least as important as your IQ—even more so when it comes to establishing and maintaining relationships.

Developing your EQ increases levels of satisfaction, effectiveness, and meaning in your work and in all your relationships—especially your relationship with yourself.

Our new Foundations of EQ course is a 12-week experience designed to introduce the foundations of our emotional and social intelligence in a cohort, which we call a learning lab. Our goal is to provide pathways for building the skills that lead to more resilient relationships in your career and with your friends and family. You’ll learn how to:

● Develop your communication skills in personal and professional contexts with a greater sense of personal responsibility

● Become more effective in influencing others in business, management, sales,
leadership, and other professional roles

● Open yourself to greater emotional intimacy in all your important relationships

● Create greater support and accountability to realize your goals

● Experience greater self-compassion and self-acceptance, including the ability to coach yourself toward making more conscious choices

Course Details

● Initial meeting with a coach to help identify your personal vision and goals for the skills you most want and need to build

● Ninety minute meetings each week that include lessons on foundational EQ assignments, plus in-class practice on applying these skills in your life

● A cohort of 3-8 individuals, where everyone starts together to create a culture of allies to support each other’s learning and growth throughout the program

● Individual 25-minute coaching every other week to help you use the course assignments in your daily life and thrive in the group
